Healing Notes
Hives and rashes often represent protective reactions to perceived emotional or physical threats. GNM associates them with separation, attack, or contact conflicts that may emerge during healing phases. Louise Hay links them to emotional hypersensitivity, while Karol Truman emphasizes reactive defense. Spiritually, they symbolize the need to restore boundaries and discernment without living in constant fear. From the 2023 Emotion Link Reference Guide — possible emotional associations: a rash is linked with irritation, a time-delay issue, wanting attention and lack of flow; hives with feeling slighted; sunburn with burning anger and blame; dry skin with boredom. Possible purpose or secondary gain: getting away, protection, hardening oneself.
