A Field Guide
How to search deeper.
Most people start by typing what hurts — low back pain, migraine, shoulder. That's a perfect entry point. But the body is only the loudest messenger. The deeper you search, the more of the message you hear.
1. Start where it hurts.
Type the symptom in your own words. Try one of these:
2. Then search what you don't talk about.
Buried feelings show up everywhere — in what you crave, fantasize about, avoid, or replay. None of these are wrong. They are doors.
3. Follow the thread.
A search for shoulder pain may surface a belief like "I have to carry everyone." Search that belief next. Then search the feeling beneath it. Each result is a doorway to the next. The work isn't to find the right answer — it's to keep listening.
