Possible Buried Beliefs
  • I need to hide or protect myself.
  • It's not safe to be seen or desired.
Healing Notes

Weight gain may serve as emotional insulation during periods of stress, grief, vulnerability, or perceived threat. Symbolically, it can represent carrying unresolved pain or creating a protective barrier between oneself and the outside world.

Fear softens when the body learns, slowly, that this present moment is safe. Breath, ground, and small acts of trust each loosen its grip.

Shame loosens in the presence of being seen and not rejected. Naming it out loud is often the first crack of light.

It moves when given time, witness, and tears. Suppressed, it settles into the body as heaviness or fatigue.
